You know, this is a good idea and is probably the way to go.

Now, I have one more question. I tried to setup two haproxy instances with the same configuration and put those two haproxy IP addresses in DNS round robin.

haproxy1: 207.115.81.140
haproxy2: 207.115.81.141

Each of these pointed to the same eight web servers with the same configuration file. However, if the user jumped from one haproxy instance to another, they didn't stick to the same web server. Is the "cookie SERVERID" not recognized across both haproxies?
