Thanks allot Willy! So i found out the actual problem this morning, it is clients with either dialup or what we cal here HIGH SPEED LIGHT(256Kb) took longer than the 2 mins and 30 sec time limit to download their email, as some users had attachments that we over 5 megs... Since have quite a few of these types of clients i upped the time out to about 15 mins....

Now this brings me to another question... what about SMTP timeouts... should i simply do the same thing to the SMTP section???

Thanks again for that help...
