Please hold. I think I found the bug. My initial idea was to keep timeouts untouched if "timeout check" is not set. However, as I did most of the job traveling I was not able to test everyting carefully enough. I don't want to do the same mistake again - during next 5 hours I have two meetings so I'll send a (truly tested!) patch to fix the bug this evening.
