new to haproxy

hi @ll,
i am planing loadbalance in HA cluster ( 2 Haproxies ) for http(s),smtp+tls(s),pop3(s),imap(s),submission+tls what are experiences with such setup, does sombody has some tips how to start which arent in the doku the haproxies should be hosted on ubuntu hardy servers amd64 as well as all client servers
i wanna use typical LAMP postfix and dovecot
